Now that you appear to have CompactCMS installed successfully, you should start creating a completely new template or adjust your current one to work with CompactCMS.
In a nutshell this won't be anything else than to develop a one page lay-out and add variables like $subheader, $content and $structure to where ever you want them to appear dynamically. Take a look at the source of this template file (index.php) for example to see how it could be done.
